Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Pi-Dev Bulgaria Ltd. ("Pi-Dev", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in relation to the video game "ColorBlend FX: Desaturation" (the "Game") and related support channels. This policy is written to satisfy the privacy requirements of the platform holders that distribute the Game, including Valve Corporation (Steam), itch corp. (itch.io), Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation®5), and Microsoft Corporation (Xbox One), and to inform players about what we do and do not collect.

1. Controller

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• The Game as distributed on: Itch.io, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One.
• Direct communications with us for support, feedback, or inquiries (for example, email or social media/Discord contact).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to data collected independently by platform holders such as Valve Corporation (Steam), Microsoft Corporation (Xbox/Windows Store), Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation®), or itch corp. (itch.io). Those companies process personal data under their own privacy policies, terms, and legal bases. We do not control their processing.

3. Summary of our data collection

Core statement: the Game itself, as provided by Pi-Dev Bulgaria Ltd., does not collect or transmit personal data to Pi-Dev while you play. It is an offline single-player title.

The only cases in which we may receive or process information are:

• When you contact us (for example via petersvp@gmail.com, Discord petersvp, or social media);
• When the platform holder exposes to us high-level gameplay platform features (for example achievements/trophies) in a way that is technically necessary to run on that platform;
• When you play the Steam version, which uses Discord Game SDK for Discord Rich Presence; Discord may receive presence-related data according to their own terms.

We do not run our own analytics, ad networks, or user profiling in the Game.

4. Information we do not collect via the Game

While you play the Game, Pi-Dev does not intentionally collect:

• Names, usernames, or gamer tags;
• Email addresses;
• Payment or billing data;
• Device identifiers outside what the platform itself controls;
• Location or IP address for analytics;
• Player-created content (the Game does not create such content for upload);
• Crash reports beyond what platform holders collect in their own systems.

Any such data that is visible to the platform is processed by the platform under its own privacy statement.

5. Information you provide to us directly

If you contact us for support or business reasons, we will receive the information you choose to send us. This may include:

• Your email address or social media/Discord handle;
• The content of your message (for example, a bug report, feature request, or technical question);
• Any diagnostic files or screenshots you voluntarily attach.

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and to improve the Game where relevant.

6. Platform-collected information

The Game is distributed on third-party platforms. These platforms may collect and process personal data such as:

• Account identifiers and profile data;
• Purchase and licensing information;
• Achievements/trophies and playtime;
• Device, console, and telemetry data;
• Network identifiers and IP addresses.

Such data is collected and processed by the respective platform holder and is subject to the privacy policy of that platform. Pi-Dev does not control and generally cannot access this data. If you want to exercise privacy rights with respect to that data, you must contact the platform provider directly.

7. Steam-specific note: Discord Rich Presence

The Steam build of the Game integrates the Discord Game SDK to display Rich Presence information (for example, that you are playing the Game). This integration is limited to that purpose. Any data processed by Discord in this context is governed by Discord's own terms and privacy policy. Pi-Dev does not store this information.

8. Legal basis (EU/EEA/Bulgaria)

Because we do not collect gameplay data, our processing is very limited. Where we do process personal data, we do so on the following legal bases:

• Consent — when you choose to contact us and provide information;
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Game and to respond to user requests;
• Legal obligations — to comply with applicable law or respond to lawful requests.

9. How we use information we receive

We may use the limited information we receive only for the following purposes:

• to respond to your support or business queries;
• to understand and fix technical issues you report;
• to protect the integrity of the Game and our services;
• to keep records of our communications.

We do not use the data for behavioral advertising or user profiling.

10. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data.

We may disclose personal data only in these limited situations:

• Service operation: to email or communications providers we use (e.g. Gmail) solely to receive and send your messages;
• Legal reasons: if we are required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority;
• Business transfer: if we ever transfer the Game or our assets, the successor may receive the minimal records we hold.

11. Cookies and tracking

We do not run analytics or tracking cookies for the Game. Our public website for the company does not collect analytics either, according to the information provided. If this changes, we will update this policy.

12. Data retention

Because gameplay does not generate personal data for us, there is no gameplay data to retain.

Support communications (emails, DMs, Discord messages) may be retained indefinitely so we can track issues, maintain security records, and demonstrate compliance. If you want a support message deleted, contact us and we will delete it unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

13. International transfers

We are based in Bulgaria (EU). However, when you communicate with us, your message may be processed by services outside the EU/EEA (for example, Gmail in the United States). This means your contact data may be transferred internationally. We try to use reputable providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

14. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold (mainly support emails). However, no system is perfectly secure. You should not send us highly sensitive personal information in support emails.

15. Children

The Game is rated approximately IARC 12+ / PEGI 12 / ESRB Teen and is not directed to children under the minimum digital consent ages (13 or 16, depending on jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

16. Your rights

Because we do not collect gameplay data, in most cases we will respond by confirming that we do not hold data about your gameplay. You may contact us to:

• confirm whether we hold any personal data about you (typically, your prior emails to us);
• request correction or deletion of your support messages;
• ask questions about this policy.

To exercise these rights, contact petersvp@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify your identity, especially if the request concerns a Discord or social account.

17. Third-party links and services

The Game may interact with external services provided by platform holders or Discord. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. You should read their privacy policies before using their services.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Game, in the platforms we publish on, or in applicable law. The updated version will be posted at the URL supplied to the platform stores, with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Game after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
